About Us

Being a native of Burley, Idaho, I have had the unique privilege of capturing the ruggedness of rodeo & the sublime simplicity of rural America as owner of Western Edge Photography for the last 5 plus years. Having been introduced to the magic of the camera by my father as I was growing up, it is little wonder that in the fall of 2001 I eagerly accepted the chance to formally study photography at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming. In 2004, I graduated from the Photographic Communications Program at NWC & received an AAS Degree. I now specialize in Rodeo Action Photography as well as Equine Special Events. When I'm not in the rodeo or horse show arena, I spend my time doing portraits, weddings, children, & special events such as reunions or parties. Natural Light photography is the style I love to use for my images. And mixing the Western way of life into portraits or any photo shoot is always fun! Where approproiate, I encourage my clients to included pets & farm animals in portraits & group shots. I excel in telling your story by including your perferred qeuine, canine, feline, or other friend. Feel free to propose your own creative ideas and I will try & capture your idea to the best of my ability.
